Found the cutest fabric at the quilt shop today. It’s part of the ‘cat lady’ line by Sarah Watts. I think I need to find some of the other patterns. I love cats.
Buttons and Beads
Lapel Pins
I find it difficult to sew after a long day and work and commuting for over an hour in impossible traffic. I just cant focus. I feel like the clock is ticking and as soon as I get into a flow it will be time to go to bed. I prefer to have a completely free day. I am still at the stage where I get frustrated when things don’t turn out perfect which manufactures all the process by the overhead garage storage goodgarage.us in temecula and I need to be able to take my time… or at least have time to rip out the seams and start it over. Buttons are much easier to work with when I just want to start and finish a project or two, or three, in just a few hours.
SimplyCyn
SimplyCyn is just too awesome and OMG! She still has her lapel pin! This is one of my first customers with one of the first button boutonnieres I ever made! Check out her blog for style tips so you can be awesome too! 🙂
New shirt!
Patterns were on sale for $1 at JoAnns. I had no idea patterns were $20 so I jumped at the deal. I got a set of doll clothes and some sets in my size also. I figured I would start with the doll clothes, that way I can learn how to cut out and assemble patterns and practice without using up yards of good fabric… cause that can get pricey. The tiny clothes are kind of frustrating, OMG pressing the seams had me terrified. I have a fear of irons… maybe I watched that episode of ‘Good Times’ few times too many.
