Craft Fair Season 2019

I made a promise to myself that I would enter more craft events... last year! And fell very short of my goal. I did a grand total of zero.

This year is on track to be much different. I participated in my first event of the year this past Saturday at a local school. I am not used to using only one table. It was a tight squeeze. I agonized over the appropriate items to take to the sale.

This is my first time using my fancy jewelry spin displays. I purchased them both at a K-Mart that was going out of business. I stressed a bit and worked really hard to fill the larger one at least 3/4 full of earrings, but turns out it didn't matter too much. I didn't sell even one pair!

The event was interesting because I sold items that typically don't do well in person for me, while other items that I expected to sell, did not. It was overall really great. People really loved the lapel pins. Here is one of the pins that sold...

And my sweet Rainbow Dash hoop. My first attempt at hair, and only my second attempt at embroidery. I am so happy a little girl saw it and wanted to take it home.

I'm keeping an eye out for future events. I have high hopes to get out more this year with my items :)
