Mermaid Cloth Doll

I’m still searching for my niche in this game of sewing so I tried making a cloth doll. A mermaid! I am happy with how she turned out. I definitely need more practice on the invisible stitch… after trying for about 30 minutes I gave up. I’ll save that fancy stuff for the next one pornh! 🙂

New shirt!

Patterns were on sale for $1 at JoAnns. I had no idea patterns were $20 so I jumped at the deal. I got a set of doll clothes and some sets in my size also. I figured I would start with the doll clothes, that way I can learn how to cut out and assemble patterns and practice without using up yards of good fabric… cause that can get pricey. The tiny clothes are kind of frustrating,  OMG pressing the seams had me terrified.
