Buttony Fussbudget

These buttons really make me miss AC Moore. I can't believe they have gone out of business. It certainly wasn't my fault! I am admittedly a persnickety shopper when it comes to buttons. I've been known to stalk a button aisle for an embarrassingly long amount of time before finalizing my purchase. I can't help it. I need to feel them and see them up close -- the color, the size, are they flat, matte, shiny, 2 holes, 4 holes? Details!!

I buy most of my buttons at JoAnns but they don't carry the Buttons Galore and More brand. The only place I could find them was AC Moore. I don't know where to go now except for their website. I already don't like shopping online and now you want me to shop online for buttons? I can't. Online all you get is a stock photo. Who knows what will show up at your door? It's not for me. I need a plan, some resources. First, they took Dritz buttons away from me now this! Ohhhh it's so bad... Ok, I'm a bit dramatic (and I kinda mean it LOL). But enough of my button bugaboo--

Today I decided to either make a necklace or bracelet. The lack of jump rings determined I would be making a bracelet.

In addition to the buttons, I also found the purple glass beads on this bracelet from AC Moore. They used to have little bins in the jewelry dept with elastic bracelets. They were always great and priced just right to repurpose into other pieces.

Taking a picture of your own wrist is hard, but isn't this pretty?
